Assignment #2A: An Emotional (Re)visit

 

One of the most effective ways to increase the emotional impact of your photos is to look back at past images you have shot and assess to see what did and what did NOT work—some solid life wisdom in this too!—and then, take what you learned and apply it in your next shoot. So with that said…

Your assignment is as follows:

Get 1 to 2 images that you’ve shot in the past and ask yourself what you would have done differently in order to create a more emotionally evocative photo. (challenge yourself to think only in terms of the lighting)

If you’re up to the challenge, try and recreate that photo(s) based on what you’ve concluded and see if you notice a difference.
